fatcat software package provides FAT filesystem explore, extract, repair, and forensic tool, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fatcat
fatcat is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fatcat package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fatcat *
You will get with fatcat package name, version, architecture and description in a table
